Hi, Hello, and Good Day!

I’m David and I’m currently a third year college student taking up music theatre at the University of Santo Tomas Conservatory of Music. That being said, I am a huge devotee of the arts. Music Theatre piqued my interest when I was very young when my family and I watch musicals such as The Sound of Music and Mary Poppins. My love for music and arts grew fondly because of a show that I would watch every day as a kid called Victorious.

I happen to believe that one thing that makes life a little bit better is a combination of music and coffee. It may come as a shocker to some but a lot of people believe the same thing as I do. I grew up in the province of Pampanga and I wasn’t initially a fan of coffee unlike the rest of my family until I had my first sip of an iced latte a few years ago.

One thing I also realized living in an ever changing and ever evolving world is that just like fashion, musical styles come back. Music being produced today tends to incorporate prominent sound from decades ago by imitating or sampling the sound. Along with this comes from where you can listen to the music. 15 years ago, vinyls were no longer a thing due to the popularity of downloading music online. But today, even with streaming platforms dominating the music industry, Vinyls are slowly resurging in sales. Vinyl records now hold a different purpose because of our generation. Owning a vinyl record compliments your personality, It serves as an aesthetic, and for its main purpose, it satisfies our audial desires.

As a coffee and music enthusiast, my job is to find ways for people to appreciate the exclusivity and intricate beauty of coffee and music and I believe that establishing a vinyl café is the way to go.
