David Schloss

David Schloss is a professional writer, photographer, editor and product reviewer.

Currently he is a regular contributor to Digital Photo Pro magazine and the photography websites Imaging-Resource.com and DPReview.com (an Amazon company) and the cycling website BikeHugger.com.

His current photographic clients include NBC/Universal and United, Inc.

David Schloss was the director of the MacCreate Network, an Apple-sponsored national user-group for creatives using Apple products.

Schloss launched the MacCreate Network after five years as the Technology Editor for Photo District News. During his time there, Schloss revamped and redeveloped the product section of the magazine, managed the review process and helped grow the circulation. He also developed the PDN Gear Guide project, an extension of PDN that launched at the company's Photo Plus trade shows as a print publication and later grew into a PDN-branded web publication.

Schloss is the author of several print books and numerous eBooks on photography and digital photography. An instructor nationally and internationally, Schloss developed and ran the twenty-stop Aperture Road Tour and the 15-stop Aperture Intensive classes

Schloss has also spent more than a decade as writer and photographer for clients such as United Airlines, Time, Inc., Bicycling Magazine, PelotonMagazine, Small Business Computing, Mountain Bike Magazine, Perception Kayaks and many others.
