Dr. David Kamelhar

As an Associate Attending Physician at NYU Langone Medical Center, Dr. David Kamelhar draws on more than 20 years of experience. He also teaches at the New York University (NYU) School of Medicine as a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine. Dr. Kamelhar graduated from the NYU School of Medicine in 1974, then received his New York State license in the following year. Dr. David Kamelhar received certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine to practice pulmonary medicine as a sub-specialty in 1980.

In 1986, Dr. David Kamelhar started working at NYU Langone Medical Center as an Assistant Attending Physician, earning a promotion to his current role in 2003. Dr. David Kamelhar began teaching at NYU School of Medicine in 1975, serving as a Teaching Assistant for five years.
