David K. Donovan

Since 2005, Boston native David K. Donovan has brought his competitive and numbers-driven business acumen to his role as the Vice President and Managing Director for Sapient Global Markets. During his tenure, David has directed a $100M investment banking division at this premier IT consulting company. Under Mr. Donovan’s divisional leadership with Sapient (ranked #3 in 2009 for corporate performance by the Globe 100 for publicly-held companies), the investment banking division has grown from $15M to $100M.

Prior to his work at Sapient, David K. Donovan was known throughout the industry for his competitive, strategic and financially driven brand of expertise. He was quickly promoted through the ranks of Fidelity Investments and become its leading institutional equity trader. During his time with Fidelity, David returned a total of over 300% annually.

David consistently demonstrated his skill, innovative thought process and leadership and an impressive work ethic to Fidelity’s highest level and throughout Wall Street. Because of this he was the only trader entrusted to proprietarily trade for five significant funds, while simultaneously leading the company’s respected Technology Group.

Prior to this 13 year run with Fidelity, David worked tirelessly for Tucker Anthony in Boston, first as a Fund Accountant and later as an Equity Trader. And right after Mr. Donovan earned his BA in Business and Finance from Boston College, he worked as Clerk for Specialist on Boston’s Stock Exchange.
