David’s athletic career began at Grand Valley State University in Michigan, where he earned recognition as a standout football player. His performance led to his selection in the 2003 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions. After his time with the Lions, he moved to the Denver Broncos and continued to display his versatility on the field. His career also included a successful stint in the United Football League (UFL) with the Las Vegas Locomotives, where he played a key role in securing a championship for the team.
Growing up in Imlay City, Michigan, David excelled in multiple sports, including basketball, football, and track. He earned All-State honors in basketball and set school and county records in track events. He contributed over 60 touchdowns on the football field, demonstrating his athletic abilities. After high school, he chose to attend Grand Valley State University, where he played a crucial role in leading the team to its first National Championship and set numerous NCAA records.
David’s NFL career started with the Detroit Lions, where he made a name for himself with his work ethic and impactful plays. He later joined the Denver Broncos, where he excelled, especially during the preseason, making notable plays such as an 84-yard touchdown reception.
