David Kuehler
With experience in management and creative development, David Kuehler has leveraged his diverse background to spearhead innovation at firms devoted to management consulting, finance, engineering and entertainment. Most recently, Kuehler served as design director of integrated innovation capability for Proctor & Gamble. An acknowledged cross-platform leader, in 2012, David Kuehler fulfilled a variety of speaking engagements, including keynotes at the American Bankers Conference, the Creative Leadership Academy, and the Danish Design Council.
Prior to his work with Proctor and Gamble, David Kuehler was director of Project Platypus at Mattel, Inc., in Los Angeles. With Project Platypus, Mr. Kuehler led the development of a dynamic methodology that identifies potential business opportunities. The results of Project Platypus included approximately $100 million in revenue growth, and a breakout rebranding of the Barbie franchise.
In addition to his career in design, David Kuehler maintains an active presence in academia. He is a consulting professor at Copenhagen Business School and Stanford Business School. He also became a Harvard Business School alumnus after finishing the Executive Education Program with a focus on entrepreneurship and service management. In his free time, David Kuehler enjoys sculpting, drawing, painting, sailing, and skiing.
