Teaching Philosophy

My hopes for every teaching encounter are to leave learners with a new perspective or information that they will retain. Learning and forgetting is an all too familiar routine that is born out of teaching methods that are out dated (ie traditional lectures) or underdeveloped. I try to assess where a learner is and work with them to grow in multiple domains at once (ie knowledge base, communication skills, etc.).
