David Lichtenstein

David Lichtenstein is CEO of The Lightstone Group, the real estate company that he founded in 1988. The Lightstone Group has since grown to become one of the 25 largest real estate companies in the United States. Mr. Lichtenstein’s attention to financing, management and acquisitions has allowed the company to build a diverse portfolio which includes multi-family apartments, office and industrial space, retail properties and lodging properties. The Lightstone Group is headquartered in New York with regional offices in Maryland, New Jersey and Illinois. The company has over 1,000 employees. Mr. Lichtenstein has founded several other organizations including American Shelter Corporation in 1988 and U.S Housing Management Company in 1994. He has also been on the Board of Directors of Turo College in New York City since 2008.
