David L. Morris

San Francisco Bay Area Business leader, David Morris is a senior financial executive with a diverse 20-year work history including over 10 years on Wall Street with such firms as Prudential Securities, Blue Stone Merchant Bank and ultimately Bear Stearns where he managed over $250 million in long/short equity positions. Mr. Morris is a leading expert in the highly specialized Phil Erlanger Technical Research discipline (PER), a proprietary methodology for measuring market sentiment as well as advanced technical analysis to more accurately analyze stocks and mitigate portfolio risk.

Mr. Morris has also served as a C-level executive for a number of companies including: Excambria Corp., one of the first competitive corporate travel-pricing platforms; Brand Intel, a web-based consumer sentiment technology that Mr. Morris helped design and roll out to the fund management community; Blink Logic, a business intelligence software company that Mr. Morris was brought in to lead its recapitalization and restructuring efforts; Laredo Oil, where he raised 2MM in bridge financing and ultimately over 25MM in funding to successfully relaunch the company; and Fortitudo, a natural resources investment project that acquired mining concessions in Africa. Currently, Mr. Morris works with multi-billion dollar equity fund managers to optimize returns while mitigating risk.
