After spending 30 years in business (Administration, Computer Information Systems) I have—with the encouragement of my beautiful and wonderful wife—decided to pursue my passion for English Literature, Religion, Education, and Teaching. I am leaving my full time position to work part-time as a software developer. I will be attending to my doctoral studies full time while teaching several classes as an adjunct instructor for Oakland Community College and possibly one other college during the winter semester.

The Computer Information Systems industry has been good to me over the years. I have made a wonderful living from it and it has afforded me many opportunities for growth, travel, and personal development. I have worked for some truly amazing companies: The Bing Group—most especially. Some other companies either by virtue of the company itself, its politics, its owner(s), and/or business practices were not so amazing; even these experiences, as painful as they might have been at the time, became either learning opportunities or pathways to other, better positions.

My only regret is that I didn’t arrive at this place sooner. It may very well be, however, that this journey could only have commenced at exactly this moment and at this place.

So, forward I travel to my desired future accompanied by my wife Alex, my children, and my many friends (especially my dearest friend Andrew Wallace) whom have encouraged me every step of the way.
