I was once described as a geek with social skills, which, as far as I'm concerned, means I can relax now.

I went from getting 3 degrees in Computer Science to working in learning and development, and I've had a wide variety of jobs - from technology research to organisational development to teaching at a business school - and this has really allowed me to feed my interest in connecting seemingly unrelated subjects.

I've spent the last 15 years finding ways of applying everything I've learnt to creativity and innovation, and I'm currently focussed (ahem!) on applying technology to support creativity and creative thinking.

In other lives, I also design websites (mainly for contemporary British artists) and photograph weddings and portraits. I am also a keen but occaisional amateur astronomer and drummer - I haven't yet found a way to combine those, but then, Brian May did a reasonable job with the guitar, so perhaps there's hope.
