Creating with the latest web technologies and development methodologies is great, but sometimes breaking a problem down to its core highlights that technology is neither the culprit or answer. In those cases, I enjoy the discovery process as much as anything else. The opportunity to learn and grow exists every day.

And when not at a whiteboard or computer, I'm busy developing my laughable musical (guitar/bass) talents or exploring a new sport. Mountain bike, endurance gravel road, and cyclocross are the current interests.
