davidmares | ARQUITECTO is an architecture studio focused in exploring the relations between the site and the architectural object.

David Mares was born in Setúbal, Portugal.

In 2007, he graduates in Architecture, by the EESS - Universidade Moderna of Setúbal.

In 2009, participates the "Design It: Shelter Competition", promoted by the Guggenheim Museum of NYC and Google SketchUp, with CBS | Cork Block Shelter, winning the "People's Prize".

In 2010, a 1:2 scaled model of CBS is exposed at the interior of the Portuguese Pavillion, at EXPO 2010 Shanghai.
