A longtime Miami resident and Florida native, David Martin takes a proactive approach to sustainability to ensure Mami is built to last. Where possible, Martin and the Terra team consistently integrate resilient construction processes, transit connectivity, renewable energy, and green space into development projects.
Martin is also an active member of several notable organizations and boards. Currently, Martin serves as Advisory Board member for the University of Miami’s Masters of Real Estate Development + Urbanism (MRED+U) program, as member of the Miami-Dade County’s Biscayne Bay Task Force, as active member of the Sea Level Rise Committee, and as Chair of the Neighborhoods Committee for The Underline (a 10-mile linear park project currently under construction).
David Martin and the Terra team maintain a strong commitment to the Miami community. This is evidenced by the company’s longtime role in a number of philanthropic, arts, and civic-minded organizations, including the YoungArts Foundation, the Freedom Tower, PAMM, Wolfsonian-FIU, Vizcaya Museums and Gardens, and the Miami Children’s Health Foundation (which benefits the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital).
