My beat regularly takes in consumer technology, mobile and telecoms; cybersecurity, cybercrime and online scams; broadcast and mobile journalism. I've a soft spot for virtual reality too.

On TV you'll find me as ITV Good Morning Britain's regular tech expert, on BBC Rip Off Britain as resident tech and telecoms consumer champion, or on BBC Watchdog uncovering cyber scams. I pop up on BBC News Channel, Channel 4 News, CNN, BBC Radio 5live, Radio 4 and local radio reporting on latest gadgets and breaking tech news stories from around the world.

In January 2016 I join Em Ford in Troll Hunters, a documentary for the BBC which lays down the law to Britain's worst online offenders and unpicks the psychology of what makes a troll tick.
