David Mearns graduated from the University of the West of Scotland with a BA in Media in 2008.

He has worked as Production Runner, Floor Runner and Locations Marshall on a number of television programmes, feature films, shorts, corporate projects and music videos since, both in studio and on location.

Most recent credits include: 'Captain America - The First Avenger' (Frostbite Productions/Marvel), 'Garrow's Law' (Shed Media/BBC), 'Snog, Marry, Avoid' (Endemol UK), Waterloo Road (Shed Productions) and 'Antiques Road Trip' (BBC/STV Productions).

David has worked all over the UK. He is no stranger to working on location up-and-down the country from Thurso in the Highlands of Scotland with 'Snog, Marry, Avoid' (as part of a two man team) to Scarborough, Norwich or Nottingham (and many more in England) with 'Antiques Road Trip'.
