David Monk has more than ten years of experience in science and industry and he enjoys putting that experience to use in his writing. His work has appeared in scientific journals, popular science magazines, trade journals, and on websites dealing with science and technology.

David holds a B.Sc. in Botany and Chemistry (double major, cum laude), and a master's in Biological Science. Areas of specialization include botany, mycology, biochemistry, light and electron microscopy, hydroponics, machine tools, process and reliability engineering, analytical instrumentation, and math and science education.

When not otherwise occupied, he might be found working on all sorts of things in his office/lab/workshop. Or, you might catch him playing bass and guitar with the Colorado-based rock band Permanent Guests.

David is actively involved in the management of several websites and blogs. His professional writing website is essay-help.websrvcs.com. He writes about reading and writing at his blog The Brainstorming. If that was not enough, he also runs the essay writing help site. Oh, and he is a math teacher with a teaching website Mister Monk's Realm and the education blog Mister Monk Says.

David shares what he has learned with others to make their life experience better. He has a passion for teaching people to deal positively with life's challenges. He teaches through writing and consulting, and his writing flows naturally from his experience and education.
