David Mouko Elizaphan Omaanya’s career in the financial services industry spans 15 years. As an experienced business leader, he is passionate about applying technology to improve business outcomes and positively impact lives.

Currently, Elizaphan is Director of Savannah Technologies Ltd.; formerly, he was Country Director and East Africa Business Head of the African payments unicorn Flutterwave.

Flutterwave offers payments solutions to businesses, providing tools to allow its users to collect payments globally in more than 30 different currencies. The company caters to all of a business’s payments needs and provides a secure payments system designed to protect against fraud.

As well as having expertise in fintech solutions and human capital management, Elizaphan also has a strong track record in scouting for business opportunities, stakeholder relations, strategy execution, corporate governance and business development. He is also active as a thought leader in the digital financial services sector and is respected within the industry for inspiring emerging leaders and driving business growth.

Elizaphan has a master’s degree in Finance and Financial Management Services and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management. He also holds an advanced diploma in Banking (AKIB) and is an associate of the Kenya Institute of Bankers.

Elizaphan is a Director at Uzapoint, a company that offers web and mobile Point of Sale (POS) software for small and medium-sized enterprises in Africa including furniture outlets, fashion stores, grocery shops, restaurants and beauty salons. The software provides tools for sales reporting, invoicing, and expenses and supplier management.
