My name is David Santamaria, and I'm passionate about business, marketing and finance. I'm currently studying at Coral Gables Senior High School, where I practice communication and collaboration every day. I am able to expand my skills in these areas with different clubs and organizations that allow me to grow. I am President of the Future Business Leaders of America and National Business Honor Society, while also being Vice President of the Academy of Finance. I take part in a program known as Big Brother Big Sister under the guidance of my mentor. I am able to grow as a person while also gaining insight into the world of banking and finance.

I have been certified in multiple different programs that include Word and PowerPoint while also getting a certificate in Bloomberg. I also was able to compete at state level in Entrepreneurship as a part of the Future Business Leaders of America. I am participating in this year's 2025 Summer Youth Internship Program. I wanted the opportunity to further my knowledge and skills in leadership, and believe that the Superhero Leader Academy is the perfect environment to grow into the best leader I can be. To me in terms of leadership, the word superhero means a person who can inspire and lead others to follow by setting an example.

My Superpowers are my ability to get along and find things in common with lots of people. I think that I inspire by giving others the confidence they need by believing in them. By definition, I believe that I am a superhero. I want to help others and connect people together to unite under one objective.
