David Nana Amoah Mensah is a highly experienced Inclusion Expert, SEN Professional, Therapist, EdTech Specialist, Master Teacher & Trainer, International Examiner, Design Educator, Educational Consultant and Humanitarian.

With a strong background in Art-based therapy, he utilizes the creative process of Art and Design to help individuals explore and express their emotions, thoughts and behaviour. Knowledgeable in effective approaches for managing and supporting child with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other learning differences, he is committed to promoting inclusive education at every level. His teaching experience spans diverse learners at the Preschool, Primary/Junior High and University students.

He is the Director for MEN.D MIND Education, equipping schools and parents with practical strategies and management policies to support child growth and development. He is a Fellow & Advocate Coordinator for Africa Dyslexia Organization and Ghanaian Representative for Blooms Development Center, Taxas, USA. He is the Operations Manager and Head of Training - HopeUp Foundation. David is a Certified Practitioner Complementary Therapist Accredited Association (CTAA), a Certified Member of International Association of Therapists (IAOTH) and a Certified Member, Design Institute of Ghana.

On-Air, he hosts Empire Reader, a kids reading program bringing literacy to under-resourced communities whiles boosting fluency and confidence in young readers. He also hosts “ADESUA” tackling issues, policies and progress n Ghana’s Education System all on EIB Network’s Takoradi Cluster.

His works has been recognized widely. In 2023 he won the Humanitarian of the Year, Ghana Premium Excellence Awards. In the same year, he was a Nominee for EDUCOM Awards 2023 Celebrating Educational Excellence in Africa Inspirational Teacher of the Year. In 2025, he was awarded Africa Finalist 2025 Leader of the Year Award – Pearson International Schools Leader.

David champions accessibility, inclusion and support for the hearing impaired, autism spectrum disorder and dyslexia in Ghana and beyond.
