I teach public relations and public speaking courses at Rollins College. I earned my Ph.D. from the College of Journalism and Communications at the University of Florida in 2011. Prior to my academic career, I have more than 20 years experience as a branding and communication consultant with a wide variety of organizations and politicians. I am passionate about mentoring young professionals and conducting original quantitative research on media and politics. I authored 40+ national and international conference papers and published 25+ articles in academic volumes since 2009. I am an avid historical fiction reader and love northeast Florida beaches, the Blue Ridge mountains, Scotland, Spain, Italy, and Austria.
