David Pastorino

I graduated as a Materials Science Engineer and Master's in Material Science Engineering at INSA Lyon, France. I pursued my training with a Master's degree in innovative materials, a Master's degree in Engineering, and a Ph.D. cum Laude in Biomaterials Engineering Science at the Polytechnical University of Catalonia (UPC)- Local Drug Delivery From Synthetic Bone GRafting Materials.

This research work led to the incorporation, growth, and acquisition of Mimetis Biomaterials 7 years later in 2021 by Envista Holding (Nobel Biocare). I was co-Founder, CEO, and Board Member of this Company that transferred 15 years of R&D to the dental and orthopedics market.

I then pursued continuous learning in Negotiation & MBA Essentials (London School of Economics and Political Science), Law (Harvard Law School), Dentistry (University of Pennsylvania), M&A (New York Institute of Finance), along with accounting, finance, HR, and management (50+ certifications).

Today, my activity focuses on education, research, and excellence in advanced full-mouth rehabilitation via the network of ZAGA Centers, zagacenters.com. Incorporated in 2017, the Company certifies more than 55 dental offices globally, experts in zygomatic implant rehabilitations to provide teeth in 24h to edentulous patients. Patient information is one of the pillars of the strategy, with a dedicated portal, smile24h.com.

I owe a significant part of my experience to cycling. I am a former bike trials world champion solo and team and multiple national champion.

I speak French, Spanish, English, and Catalan fluently.
