David is also the band leader for the eccentric 8 piece comedy jazz band, The Bolivian Sunshine Dogs. They have performed with Kenny Ball and Terry Lightfoot amongst many and also played at the Monster Raving Loony Party Annual Conference.

As an actor/combatant and slapstick expert (and in his youth a superb faller from bicycles) David will still occasionally take on a dangerous role, having recently ridden a stunt horse, bareback, holding a cup of coffee and a briefcase, through a railway carriage, for an advert for 'Trainline'.

He owns the company 'Mad Magic' who supply eccentric magic props to the theatre and now to the public, and is on hand as a consultant for illusion and magic for stage shows. He runs 'Eccentric Magic' Workshops for the Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts.

He is reprising his role as an Ugly Sister in 'Cinderella' this year - again with Phil Hoyles - at the Haverhill Arts Centre this year after their successful run last year in The Isle of Wight, and Leatherhead the year before..
