David Prather

An experienced personal injury lawyer, David Prather represents clients as a partner with a West Palm Beach, Florida private legal practice. He focuses on matters related to wrongful death, product liability, medical malpractice, and auto negligence. Since becoming an attorney, David Prather has earned several honors, including a Wall Street Journal Top 100 Lawyers in Florida ranking and the Lawyer of the Year 2013 award. Presently, he is a member of the Palm Beach County Justice Association and a board advisor for the F. Malcolm Cunningham Bar Association.

In terms of his public service, David Prather helps select qualified judicial nominees as member of the Judicial Nominating Committee for the Southern District of Florida. Further, he sits on the Southern District of Florida Federal Magistrate Selection Committee.

Before entering private practice, Mr. Prather gained hands-on legal experience as assistant to the state attorney and assistant public defender with the Palm Beach County 15th Judicial Circuit in West Palm Beach. Following that, he joined Lytal, Reiter, Clark, Fountain & Williams, where he became a partner.
