David Price MD
A surgeon with over 25 years of experience, David Price MD is an expert in many surgical techniques and utilizes this knowledge through his private practice, Grace Surgical. Since 2001, David Price has run Grace Surgical in conjunction with hospitals throughout Cranberry Township and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, offering general surgical procedures that include laparoscopic surgery, endovascular surgery, and stereotactic breast biopsies. David Price MD also assists with resident training at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center (UPMC) Mercy, teaching complicated hernia repair. David Price MD initially started his career in the field of toxicology, first serving as a Forensic Toxicologist for the Kentucky State Police Central Crime Lab, then later as a Clinical Toxicologist for the University of Louisville in Kentucky, where he also earned his Doctor of Medicine. In the following years, David Price MD completed surgical residencies at the Medical University of South Carolina and at Mercy Hospital, where he received a Laparoscopic Surgery Achievement Award. In 1993, David Price MD joined a general and vascular surgery practice that operated out of Pittsburgh and McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania. He worked in this practice for seven years before leaving in 2000 to start Grace Surgical. Dr. David Price holds membership with American Medical Association, Butler County Medical Society, and Pennsylvania Medical Society, and he is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. David Price MD is also a founding member of the Vascular Center of Mercy Hospital and works as a medical ambassador for People to People. With this organization, he traveled to China to teach laparoscopic surgery and participated in a mission trip to Venezuela.
