I'm David, a journalist and digital-media specialist with more than a decade of success writing and editing sports/entertainment content for a digital-first audience.

I'm the Senior NFL Editor for theScore, a company I joined in 2013. My responsibilities include tracking and analyzing news in real-time, producing and assigning features, and sending push alerts to our millions of subscribers.

I've served as team lead for special projects including theScore's coverage of the Olympics and World Cup, contributed to our acclaimed fantasy football coverage, and even had an NFL player try to fight me over something I wrote.

Oh, and I'm also the guy who started the whole "Fat Eddie Lacy" thing. Yes, that was really me.

Check out my archive at theScore, or follow the links below to read some of the best work I've produced.

🏈 Football's Future: Imagining the NFL's evolution over the coming decades

🏈 Money Week: An interactive series examining the business of football from all angles

🏈 How to fix the NFL's 5 worst uniforms

🏈 Degrees of villainy in Adrian Peterson vs. NFL

🏈 NFL players whose real names aren't what you think

Before theScore, I owned and operated the football blog PigskinBuzz.com. In that role, I wrote, produced video, and interviewed numerous NFL stars.
