Before joining Newsday, I was an associate editorial director for Patch.com, the editor of Long Island Business News, a reporter for a unit of Thomson Financial, a sports reporter for the New Haven Register and a press fellow for Sen. Joseph Lieberman.

I've won multiple Society of Professional Journalists awards, and am a member of LIBN's 40 Under 40 Class of 2011. I'm also an adjunct professor at Hofstra University.
