Helping Cree families from the North that are dealing with Cancer...Skating In-Line this 2012 from Victoria, BC to St. Johns, NFLD and from Chisasibi, QC to Mistissini, QC...All for a good cause and have paused my life for now to focus on helping a cancer patient being treated in the south and leaving home and family. I am starting up a foundation for them so we can move a family to be with them and especially children...Fighting cancer is one thing that we cant ignore especially when a cancer patient is away, miles away from his/her children and family...I believe we can move a family temporarily while receiving treatments here..some stay 3 months to 9 months...I lost my brother Michael Coonishish 2010 from Cancer and today I owe it to him cause I didn't see until he opened my eyes...Now I have opened and my heart has given me strength to this Journey as it will be my first time crossing Canada...I am a Cree from Mistissini, QC...Last summer I did 1600kms to make awareness for the people of James Bay, QC (Home of the Crees) So now I will go again for 10 000kms...This Journey goes out to all Cancer patients that are fighting and battling this terrible disease...but dedicating behalf of myself to my brother...also to remember all our loved ones that have gone to Heaven...
