Ask anybody that knows me and they’ll tell you that I live, eat and breathe everything that provider connectivity encompasses. I truly believe that all this technology we are building and implementing has the potential to revolutionize the way we practice medicine in this country. And I say “we” because we are ALL a part of this continuum.

Provider connectivity is any technology that allows doctors, pharmacists, payers and members to communicate with eachother so that in the end, we can lower the cost of care because the patient was able to get the right medicine at the right time for the right condition. Some of the technologies we’re talking about here are things like ePrescribing, electronic prior authorization (ePA) and clinical messaging to name a few. I firmly believe that a positive patient experience begins upstream with the physician.
