Hello, my name is David. I am a marketing and sales professional living in Melbourne, FL. I have spent the past three years managing a team of sales professionals for a growing business in the renewable energy space.

As the Marketing Coordinator at FINIS, Inc., I really found a new love for marketing and all that it had to offer as a career. I was responsible for a very diverse range of functions, from social media advertising, athlete sponsorship, e-commerce and email marketing, to tradeshow and physical events.

I had the opportunity to travel internationally as the representative for the brand and enjoyed working with people from different backgrounds and cultures than my own. We worked together to create common goals and found success for their unique needs.

After two years, I put my career on pause to serve my country. Greece was approaching financial collapse and the mass migrations into Europe were changing the world’s economy at an accelerated pace. I set out to make a difference and to secure my nation’s well-being with a goal of helping others in need.

I learned a lot from being a part of a 500k employee organization, specifically the importance of concise communication, standardization and procedural compliance at scale, as well as the inherent slow adoption of new processes in contrast to what I had experienced in the world of small business.

I accepted a position as the Marketing Manager for Boost Swimming, a small business located near Lake Tahoe. I am largely responsible for the brand’s social media and email marketing campaigns as it relates to the launch of their new digital product offerings.

It was extremely exhilarating to be back in a position to make data-driven marketing decisions for the business and I enjoyed every bit of this new role. The evolution of this project was constant and we sought new ways to be disruptive in a large market through innovation and technology.

While at LGCY Power, I honed my skills as a sales and marketing professional, and was also responsible for the management, recruiting, and training of our sales force. I played a key role in the growth of our business and my team would routinely generate revenue that would meet or exceed our goals.
