David Sharif was diagnosed with autism when he was four years old. Coming from an immensely challenging background of being underestimated numerous times, he attended "Village Glen West" a multi-disciplinary special needs school, administered through a comprehensive non-profit to fulfill his primary and secondary education. Maintaining a perfect attendance record and earning numerous academic awards, he graduated as the Class of 2015 valedictorian and became the first student from the school to go to a prestigious university in the East Coast. Four years later, he graduated Pace University Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Peace and Justice Studies. He is also an alum of the Pace OASIS program, the most comprehensive support structure for college students with learning differences and is one of its strongest advocates. He has spoken in panels, gave speeches, talks, and done research presentations on the prevalence of autism. He also published blogs and have been featured in printed and digital sources. In the course of his travel experiences, he explores various cultural and religious traditions, connected with activist non-profits and global organizations. Locally, he has volunteered in a variety of civic engagement services and participated in meetings about public concerns and social change. Picking up debating skills, he was a delegate for his universities Award Winning Model United Nations team; attended three conferences and participated in a United Nations program visiting more than five UN agencies. In addition to his diplomatic experience, he studied with the American Institute for Foreign Studies three times. He also holds teaching credentials from an international exchange agency. Pursuing a career to become a global professional speaker, he embodies the desire to help individuals with learning differences from many disciplines to receive quality education and live a fulfilling life. He has been to 40 countries at the age of 22 in five of the seven continents with educational and work experience in six countries: Ecuador, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, and China.
