As he grew his career and began generating more substantial profits, David soon found that he had more money to donate and more time to start making donations. He has been involved in helping to fund both Madison Square Park and Chelsea Waterside Plaza.
David Shorenstein attended college-preparatory school at Riverdale Country School in the Bronx, New York. After graduating, he continued his education by attending the New York University - Leonard N. Stern School of Business. He attended the school from 1999 to 2003 when he graduated, having earned his Bachelor of Science degree in finance. It was then that he entered the world of finance and began developing and growing his career.
