David Shoroye is the 'Global giant'. A young man with a godly focus, passionate about building an intimate relationship with God and expressing his creativity through digital art and comics. David shoroye is a talented digital artship who likes to build world's, create superheroes and tell stories inspired by his roots and soil, he is currently a concept and comicbookk artist working with Faith Blade comics - a faith based creative arts organisation based in Nor folk, Virginia USA). Beyond that he is also a gifted teacher of scriptures and an evangelist utilising the media to reach his generation as a voice of truth, inspiring hunger and desire for a genuine relationship with God in dark world with divided attentions. David Shoroye is currently the founder and steward of the Thrive Tribe- a CREATIVE DISCIPLESHIP platform. The thrive tribe is an organisation that seeks to see men thrive, beign fruitful in their walk with God, experiencing joy and progress in the faith. Their current God given focus is to used the media sphere creative and faith driven materials and resources from articles, to podcast, to comics, creative writeups, online prayer meet-ups and campaigns to strengthen, encourage, enrich and ensure that growing believers prioritise and are consistent in their devotion, constantly seeking the Glory of God in their lives.
When asked about the name 'Global giant' David Shoroye explanation goes thus " the name is birthed from the consciousness of scripture which tells us that the faith we have is that which overcomes the world, ( literally the whole wide world) and also the scripture that says greater is he that is in me than he that is the world, so therefore there is nothing, absolutely nothing in the world that is greater or big enough to stop me because I'm a child of God and a carrier of his spirit, crowned with his glory and seated far above all principalities, powers, dominions and thrones in the heavenlies in Christ Jesus".
David Shoroye has been greatly influenced by several Nigerian preachers like Apostle Emmanuel ren, Apostle Oluwatobiloba Oshunbiyi, Past Chris Oyakilome, Apostle Arome Osayi, Evangelist Lawrence Oyor, Evangelist Mike Bamiloye, Pastor Daniel Olawande, Apostle Toluwalogo amongst many others
