David Skudder has over three decades of experience in Grain and Futures. He has spent the last decade in an advisory role for friends and family, focusing on commodity trading. He currently owns and runs Pitchfork Farm, a commercial hay business that supplies several zoos and produces the highest-quality Bermuda grass hay in the region.

After graduating from Virginia Tech University with a degree in agricultural economics, David decided to pursue a career in the industry. He started working for Continental Grain Company, which is now known as Continental Group. Over the years, he has gained a deeper understanding of the global oilseed and grain trading industry. He also learned how to develop his skills in order to improve his career.

After working in Tennessee for Grain Services, Inc., David Skudder moved to Memphis, where he was an intermediary. He was mainly focused on the physical grain markets. He then worked for Bruce Oakley, Inc., a company that is a medium-sized fertilizer and grain firm in Arkansas. While he was there, he was able to manage the company's various operations. He returned to Memphis and provided livestock and commercial companies with advisory services.

Originally from Long Island, New York, David now lives and works in Stanton, Tennessee, with his wife and children.
