David Stack is the former chief financial officer of Qstream & Localytics, a Boston-based firm that specializes in app analytics for a broad gamut of businesses, large and small alike. He also serves as the Director of the Board of Directors at Brandyourself, a premier online reputation management company. Preceding his employment at Localytics, David Stack was the CFO of HubSpot, where he was responsible for overseeing all financial activities within the company. During Stack’s stint at Hubspot, he played a major role in the transformation of a $1M revenue company into a $100M corporation.

Prior to his employment at Hubspot, David Stack served as vice president of finance at EMC Corporation, a data storage company. While working on EMC’s executive team, Stack honed his skills as he played a part in developing and managing the financial and information system activities in the EMC security division. Stack also served as the Vice Presidentof RSA Security, where he went on to occupy other financial executive positions. David was the finance lead for RSA Security during EMC’s $2.3 billion dollar buyout of the company in 2006. All told, David Stack has over 20 years of experience in the financial field.

Stack has headed a wide and diverse range of projects including long and short-term financial planning, general accounting, investor relations, revenue recognition, accounting policy creation and procurement. Following his employment at Hubspot in 2008, Stack gained additional insight in scaling companies looking to announce an IPO in the long term.

David Stack earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Florida Southern College and went on to earn an MBA from the University of Central Florida. He also completed the Program for Leadership Development at the Harvard Business School Executive Education Program. Stack enjoys spending his free time on the greens playing golf.
