I am a former software salesperson and marketer turned engineer and educator. While I'm still solving problems, the stories I tell now are built with Go, Ruby, and JavaScript.

In addition to my day job, I really enjoy helping others discover rewarding careers in tech and lead evening workshops that focus on software development fundamentals.

Outside of work I'm a big fan of hiking, camping, cooking, and baseball. As a lifelong Cubs fan, this was a good year.
