David Storm

This is my second year teaching at UMA. Before my adventure in education I served in the United States Air Force for 10 years as an RF Transmission Systems Supervisor. During my career in the military I grew to love and appreciate (and respectfully fear) technology. Computer Science has been a passion of mine ever since I learned that I can use them to do cool things like develop video games, make websites, write novels, and watch 12 hours of Netflix in one sitting; you know, productive stuff. I have an AS in Electronic Systems Technology and a BS in Social Science. I am very interested in how modern man interacts with technology and how it effects our behavior. Not only do I teach my students how to use technology, I also encourage them to think about these devices that we take for granted.
