David Terry, Teacher

David Terry, Port Chester Teacher has vast knowledge regarding the identification of the leading teaching trends and language discourses. He possesses exceptional leadership skills.

In 2001, David Terry developed a lesson, featuring a parallel task (based on the ELA Regents exam), which was published in the NY State Resource guide titled The Teaching of Language Arts to Limited English Proficient/ English Language Learners.

David Terry, Teacher worked as the teacher of Native Language Arts from 1988-1994 at Park West High School – New York, NY. While working there, he taught Native Language Arts in Spanish- all levels. He also taught Spanish as a Foreign Language.

In 1992-93, David Terry, Teacher held the position of Grade Advisor (performing guidance responsibilities), for 11th and 12th-grade students. He also taught ESOL to all grade levels under a provisional license.

David Terry, Teacher graduated as a valedictorian from Downsville Central School in 1982. Later on, he graduated in 1986 from Wesleyan University. There he taught with Upward Bound program during college.
