I spend most of my time working on OpenROV, an open source underwater robot and community of DIY ocean explorers around the world.

I wrote a book: Zero to Maker. I occasionaly write for the MAKE: Blog.

Prior to underwater robots, I managed a sailing school in Berkeley for a few years. I still sail as much as I can. In fact, I live on a sailboat in the San Francisco Bay.
