David Trads
Hi, I’m David Trads, and I have two jobs:
I'm Head of Development for Metro International - and I'm a global political commentator.
I've been a journalist for 20 years - three times as a foreign correspondent based in Buenos Aires, Moscow and Washington DC. I'm also author of three books - on right wing politicies, the war on terror and on global warming. My current column focuses on Latin America and is published weekly in Metro, the world's most widely read global newspaper.
Since 2013 I've been Head of Development and Executive Vice President for Metro International. Metro is published in over 150 major cities in 23 countries across Europe, North & South America and Asia. Metro has a unique global reach – attracting a young, active, well-educated Metropolitan audience of over 18,4 million daily readers.
I love football – always Manchester United and FC Copenhagen and always any team managed by Michael Laudrup (currently Swansea in the Premier League)
I'm married, have two teenagers, and live in Washington DC.
