David Utain

A long time advocate of alternative energy sources, David Utain spends his free time teaching people about alternative sources of energy. He is an active member of both People for People and the Cheltenham Township Sustainability Steering Committee. Mr. Utain earned his Business Management degree from Penn State University in 1988. He has been highly successful in increasing the revenues of companies he worked for throughout his career. He has notable achievements in the creation and implementation of plans which promote efficiency, reduce costs and improve production of companies. He is also seasoned in restructuring operations to meet the goals of companies and cater to the needs of customers. When Mr. Utain left school in 1988, he worked as the Operations and Project Manager of Empire Building and Home Center. He supervised more than 35 people and, during his stay in the company, he was able to increase production by twenty percent while also reducing costs by more than $75,000, yearly. He was responsible for the restructuring of operational jobs which was crucial in improving cost control. David Utain worked for Arbros Communications from 2000 to 2002 as their Strategic Technology Consultant where achieved a remarkable feat during his employment. David Utain did what no one had done, surpass the company's quota by 110%. From 2002 to 2008, he worked as the Regional Sales Director of American Classic Agency. David became one of the company's top management leaders and was a strong presence when it came to the recruitment, training and coaching of agents in the field. He became MetLife's Agency Director of Operations [n6] from 2008 to 2010. Aside from managing more than fifteen agents, he also administered operations for underwriting requirements for more than twenty staff and issued policies for group insurance. Today he works for ACEllis& Co. and 21st Century Energy Group as a consultant. As such, David Utain is responsible for negotiations with third parties and supervising multiple teams handling various projects.
