I born in Lima, Peru in 1980. I came to Canada in 2010 with a succesful Marketing and Public Relations career in my home country. After being a TV reporter for 4 years, I became a Public Relations consultant for different businesses. After that I've been hired by "Imedia Comunicaciones" a small Communication Company that in its beginnings only had 1 office in Lima, 15 employees and 10 clients. I started there as an Account Executive in 2006, responsible for the biggest client at that moment, Telefónica del Perú; but my managerial skills and commitment with the company and Fernando Gonzalez, its owner, made me be promoted to Director of Operations in a couple of months. As a Director, I organized the company, created and documented new procedures for each area. Implemented motivational and evaluation processess for the manpower and designed the system that integrates all the procedures from each department. I developed new business areas like Audiovisual Projects, Media Monitoring in Provinces and Sales department. In 6 months our procedures became more efficient, and our list of clients grew in 300%. Soon Imedia bacame the business that managed the media information of the most important companies in Peru. Clients like World Bank, Inter-American Develpment Bank, Europe Union-PERU PROJECT / PENX, Telefónica del Peru, Telmex, Romero Group, Brescia Group, Peru LNG, Anglo American Mining, Barrick Mining, Fiat, Honda, Ace Home Center, Turism and Trade Ministry, gave to Imedia the reputation as an agency of great prestige. Is in that moment that I accept the challenge of the Associate Director position, and my duties got oriented in generate new leads for the company creating strategic alliances with audiovisual companies.
In 2010 my adventure in Imedia finished. I decided to move to Vancouver, and I left the company with 165 employees, 109 clients, 20 branches in 20 provinces in Peru and its stakeholders happy and proud to be part of that wonderful enterprise.
In Vancouver I studyied at the International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Vancouver, and I got the Hospitality and Restaurant Mangement Diploma. While I was studying I worked as a Assitant Manager at Culinaria, a fine dining restaurant in Downtown. Later, I decided to continue my Marketing career as an Online Marketing and Video Marketing consultant helping restaurats in BC to succeed in this competitive market.
