Hello.

I live in Brisbane, Australia and love information, creativity, music, film, good coffee and my genius girlfriend.

I will read almost anything that comes my way but I admit to a weakness for Angela Carter and Mark Twain's travel books. I'm also a big fan of science fiction, science and history.

I’d list some of my favourite musicians, bands and composers but there’s not enough space. So I’ll just say that, like reading, I’ll have a listen to anything that comes my way and the list is always expanding.

My employment history includes Naturopath, Lecturer, Technical Writer, OH&S Officer, Workplace Trainer, Quality Associate and Warehouse Staff. I'd like a full-time writing career however, I currently lecture in Anatomy and Physiology.

I have a couple of tertiary qualifications and I’m currently doing a Masters in Information Technology (Library and Information Sciences).

When I’m not reading, I listen to podcasts, play the flute and saxophone and attempt to compose music. Then there is the writing. I have an organic vegetable garden, and had a main role in one of the worst low-budget sci-fi films ever made.

By the way, did I mention my genius girlfriend?
