I am passionate about achieving realistic goals by robust planning, creative yet sensible execution, and development of happy and self-motivated teams. I am profoundly influenced by Stephen Covey's habit 5, “Seek first to understand, then to be understood”. In product development situations where there is more than one opinion of what is right, this paradigm enables collaboration that results in forward progress. This single statement is the basis of how I lead, and how I follow, both of which are required of an effective leader. My greatest accomplishment is helping others achieve their potential and our goals.
