Davinder Sethi

Davinder (Dav) Singh Sethi is a local Vancouver businessman with a global appetite. After years of searching for his true passion, he was inspired to study the Ancient pasts of long-standing civilizations. In 2007, with the nurturing and tutelage of Dr. Colin Green and Dr. Henry Yu, Davinder was able to hone in his analytical talents when it came to the rich nearly 5000 year old past of the Chinese.

Davinder took this background knowledge and decided to focus his research closer to home. Dav looked at how multi-ethnic cultures such as the Chinese and South Asians developed the society Vancouver has develop into today. Through the research, Davinder found the time to complete his Bachelors of Arts degree in Chinese-Canadian History at the globally renowned University of British Columbia. He hopes to attend law school and obtain both his JD and MBA. Davinder has always been heavily engaged in the Indo-Canadian and Chinese-Canadian communities. He has created workshops and organized efforts to better educate Vancouverites.

Davinder has a wealth of knowledge in leadership and business. He was previously the Manager of Best Buy's Home Theatre Department at the flagship Cambie location. He consistently had one of the highest-grossing teams in the nation. Davinder is also the co-founder of PFINCH Products and Solutions Canada, a company launching in the summer of 2014.

Davinder's ideal job would be the GM of the Vancouver Canucks. Hockey is one of his life passions and his strong analytical mind would be perfect for managing rosters and salary caps. He will settle for being MP for Vancouver South in 2018!
