For more than two decades, the public school planning consulting firm of Davis Demographics & Planning has worked with school districts across the United States. At present, Davis Demographics is putting together data on Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to be used in its SchoolSite Planning Suite to predict enrollment and handle boundary changes. The company's client in the Milwaukee project is Milwaukee Public Schools, which is the 31st largest U.S. school district as measured by enrollment and the largest school district in the state of Wisconsin.

In California, where the company was founded, the company has been working with Keppel Union School District, the Davis Joint Unified School District, and the Centralia Elementary School District. All three districts have contracted with Davis Demographics & Planning for enrollment projections.
