Derek Davis

I have been working on my bachelor’s degree at Towson University since 2007. During this time, I’ve worked a full time job and a part time job. I work full time for Harford County Public Schools as a computer tech and part time for the Baltimore Ravens doing field security during the football season. I have always been interested in computers and working on them, because of this I’ve been an IT professional for over thirteen years.
I have an AA degree and am A+ certified I hope to continue to obtain more certifications once I am finished with my bachelor’s. I chose mass communications because I felt that it offered a different perspective of technology and how it’s used. From television to radio to newspapers, it’s much different from the same old classes teaching how a computer works. I hope to use this degree to broaden my opportunities in working world.
