My Goldfish

When I try to imagine the inner workings of the brain of a goldfish, not much comes to mind. That's probably because there's not much going on in there, right? It's just a stupid goldfish that floats around without any direction or entertainment value. There's few pets worse to have than a goldfish. It might die soon anyway, it never seems like it wants to go anywhere, no matter how hard I try to encourage it. I'm just about ready to give up on my goldfish. Then again, maybe I haven't given my goldfish the chance to prove itself. Maybe the goldfish just isn't properly motivated. Maybe it just needs to be fed or put in a bigger bowl. I probably just don't feed my fish enough, otherwise it might be a little more entertaining. Maybe if it had a bigger bowl it would have some room to flow freely. Until I give my goldfish that chance though, I think it's just going to stay where it is. A tiny, boring goldfish in a small bowl.
