Davonna Carr is a graduate of Iowa State University with a B.S. in Apparel Merchandising, Design and Production and a Minor in Business. She has ten+ years of Fashion Industry experience working with such brands as Tracy Reese, Rocawear, Phat Farm, LRG, Akademiks, Puma, The Gap, Aeropostale, Target brands and many others. Her designs have been featured in WWD, Vogue Bambini’s Petite Parade, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, on the Today Show, a nationally televised Folgers commercial, BET’s Baldwin Hills, MTV’s Making the Band 4 & Run’s House and her Team USA apparel was on the backs of several athletes at the 2016 Rio Olympics. She has also worked in NYC theatre and participated at Project New York and the Magic Showcase in Las Vegas.
Her Media experience includes working as an On-Camera Fashion & Beauty Expert for Tyra Banks beauty site TypeF.com and Ehow.com's style section. She also developed her own Online Fashion Illustrated Magazine which features creative content on the industries leading talents.
Her creative talent for the written word inspired a career pivot into Screen and Songwriting. She converted her original IP into a series of TV and feature-length screenplays with original music scores and is now scheduled to launch Tell-A-Vision, a multi-media production company where she’ll hold the reins of CEO and founder.
