Dawn Branley

Durham, UK

Psychologist researching the link between social media use and risk behaviours, negative health behaviours and extreme behaviours. Current studies in association with Durham University, Newcastle University and the Library of Congress (Washington DC, USA) focus upon online communication about eating disorders and self-harm.

Also interested in all aspects of digital data including how we can use digital resources across a range of disciplines, how we can make the data meaningful and how we handle and store that information. Recently returned from a placement at the Library of Congress as the first, and currently, only researcher to work on the Twitter archive.

Happy to hear from other researchers in this area. Also looking for an exciting and engaging postdoc position. Drop me an email and lets discuss ideas!
